A card with a question mark on its shirt is a Surprise Card

Such a card is placed under other cards on the table and remains inactive until you remove the card above it. Once opened, the card is activated and acquires one of the special properties you've encountered before. The card may turn into one that makes the level either easier (such as a joker card, Extra card, Wild card) or harder (such as a bomb, lightning, or curtain card).
