You can view your current tasks by tapping the Task Menu icon at the bottom left of the screen:

 

 

To find where to go, tap the magnifying glass icon in the task window — the game will guide you to the right location:

 

In the Task Menu, you can also check your expedition collectibles:

 

Completing tasks and collecting items will fill the Gift Bars at the bottom of the screen, rewarding you with useful resources to help you explore the location.
