Amplifier is a temporary event that helps you get required for tasks items x2, or even x4, x6, x8 times faster!
When you see this icon 
on the merge energy progress-bar, the event is active. While it's active, Generators produce items of higher levels only.
When the Amplifier is active, you also spend x2 energy points. It's worth it, though: the higher the multiplier, the higher is generated item's level, so you can complete tasks faster. 😉
If you want to get items of a lower level, or you just want to turn the amplifier off, simply tap on the icon 
and the amplifier will be disabled. 😊
The event is active for merge tasks in main expeditions and temporary expeditions at the same time. If you disable the amplifier for tasks in temporry expedition, the changes will be applied for the main expedition as well.
