How does it work?
Once claimed, the booster appears in the upper-left corner of the merge board — just like all other rewards. Simply drag it out, tap to open, and pick one of three items – it will instantly replace the booster! 
There are now two categories of the booster: those that offer order-oriented items, and those that offer useful random items.
