Every now and then we release timed event locations. They're not connected to the main 'storyline' locations, but appear prior to some festive events in the world of Klondike.

Event locations present a kind of challenge, as the time you can spend exploring them is limited (you can see the timer right below the location icon on the map).

Develop your personal game strategy, as you can explore permanent locations and temporary event locations at the same time, but make sure you can finish the quests and get all the precious rewards for timed locations, as you will not be able to visit them again.
