If you make purchases in the game, you also get VIP points and unlock VIP levels. Each of the 9 VIP levels requires a certain amount of VIP points. You can see the points you'll get for a purchase right in the game shop.

To see all the perks VIP levels offer, open the ruby shop at the top left of your game screen and go to the VIP tab.
